Taco John’s — at 1915 E. Kimberly Road, Davenport — has reopened its doors after an exterior remodeling project, parent company Taco John’s International Inc. announced in a news release.

The location’s owner, Paxton Keiser Enterprises LLC, based in Nashville, Tennessee, was responsible for the upgrade. According to the release, the group has more than 20 Taco John’s locations in states including Iowa, Kentucky and Missouri.

“We’re thrilled to welcome our valued customers back to our newly renovated Davenport location,” Matthew Keiser, managing partner with Paxton Keiser Enterprises, said in the release. “This remodel is part of our commitment to providing community members with an even better experience, and we can’t wait for them to see and enjoy the improvements.”

The dining room and the drive-thru are open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Taco John’s offers mobile ordering and delivery through the Taco John’s App and app users receive exclusive offers.

As a legacy brand for more than 54 years, Taco John’s began as a single taco stand in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 1969. It has been the leader in to-go and drive-thru business, which the company said has helped insulate the brand from recent market shifts. Today, Taco John’s has grown into more than 370 quick-service Mexican restaurants across 23 states.
