GENESEO, Illinois — Geneseo business leader Zack Sullivan has launched a new creative services company dedicated to helping local businesses, organizations, events, and communities grow through digital promotion, event experiences, and business support services.
Zactus Creative, LLC works with small businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities throughout Henry County and the Quad Cities region. Operated out of his home in Geneseo, Zactus is focused on helping clients clarify their message, strengthen their brand, establish a crucial online presence, and connect with the audiences that matter most.
After serving as the Geneseo Chamber of Commerce’s executive director for 6 ½ years, he opened his new home-based business in January after his departure in late December from the chamber. A search is underway for a new chamber leader.
Mr. Sullivan brings extensive leadership experience working with businesses and community organizations across the region to his new role. After leaving the chamber, he told Our Quad Cities News in a statement “It is my hope that the vision and drive that the Chamber of Commerce represents in Geneseo will continue.” 
In a news release announcing his company’ launch, Mr. Sullivan, the CEO, said that during his career he has helped hundreds of local businesses, organizations, and communities strengthen their visibility, connect with their audiences, and build momentum for growth.
“At Zactus Creative, we believe strong brands build strong communities,” he said in the Wednesday, March 10, release.“Our goal is to help businesses and organizations be seen, show up confidently, tell their story clearly, and build meaningful connections with the people they want to get their message and brand to.”

During his career, Mr. Sullivan also helped elevate Geneseo as a regional tourism destination and business hub. He is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management (IOM) and earned his Accredited Chamber Executive (ACE) credentials from the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in November 2025. In January, he also was named a 2026 QCBJ Regional Leader.
