U.S. Rep. Eric Sorensen, D-Moline., will host a free community shredding event from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Midland-Davis, 3301 4th Ave., Moline.
Participants should enter Midland-Davis from 34th Street.Â
The event offers a secure way for residents to shred documents containing personal information such as bank statements, tax records, and medical bills to securely dispose of sensitive documents and protect against identity theft and fraud.Â
