Six businesses in the Iowa Quad Cities area received approval for $2.7 million in loans through the Iowa District Office of the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) in the month of March.
Here, according to the Iowa SBA March report, are the companies and projects located in three Iowa Quad Cities counties that won U.S. SBA loan approval last month
Clinton County:
- DSHP, Clinton, $1,545,000. This new hotel related business is expected to create two jobs.
Muscatine County:
- 2nd Wind Rehab Strength & Conditioning, Moscow, Iowa, $299,000. This new horse and other equine production business is expected to create four jobs and retain one.
- Same Day HealthCare and Wellness Center, Muscztine, $150,000. This new office for health care practitioners is expected to create one job and retain three.
Scott County:
- JM Wellness, Bettendorf, $135,000. This new miscellaneous health care office setting is expected to create two jobs and retain one.
- KSAS Kesinotowo, Davenport, $313,900. The existing supermarket or grocery related business is expected to retain one job.
- Richmond Real Estate, Davenport, $260,000. This existing fitness and recreational sports center related business project is expected to create three jobs and retain one.
In all, the SBA backed 47 loans for $23,076,200 to Iowa businesses from participating lenders using its two largest lending programs.
The SBA 7(a) and 504 programs capitalized 24 new and 23 existing businesses that report creating 127 new jobs and retaining 256 jobs as a result.
