Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has announced Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) support for Scott and two other Iowa counties that were impacted by severe storms, wind and flooding on June 16.
Dubuque and Jackson counties are approved for Public Assistance, and Scott is approved for Individual Assistance, under the previously approved Major Disaster Declaration.Â
Scott County residents also are eligible for the Disaster Recovery Temporary Housing Program. The program is aimed to help survivors whose homes are damaged, destroyed or deemed uninhabitable.
FEMA’s Individual Assistance Program assistance was already approved for the counties of Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Humboldt, Lyon, Monona, O’Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Pottawattamie, Sioux, and Woodbury.
