A new college scholarship has the goal of helping immigrant and refugee students in the Quad-Cities region pay for higher education.
The Quad Cities Scholarship for Immigrants and Refugees will be awarded for the first time in the spring. It is administered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation.
The scholarship offers students up to $4,000Â a year for up to six years.
Applications for 2022 scholarships are open now through Feb. 15, 2022, with recipients announced in May. Students may apply early. To apply, visit QCCommunityFoundation.org/scholarships.
