Safety Summit is Jan. 11 at BHC

Learn more about safety in the workplace at the Safety Summit going on Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Black Hawk College Business Training Center in Moline.

The event is geared toward safety professionals, managers and supervisors, committee members, human resources personnel, business owners, contractors and anyone else who is responsible for the safety of employees, according to a news release from BHC. It will include five presentations by workplace experts discussing a wide range of relevant topics, information about the latest trends and time to network with fellow safety professionals. 

The summit will run 8:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Jan. 11, in the Building 2 auditorium at the college, room 105, 6600 34th Ave., Moline. Parking will be available in Lot 1 off 70th Street.  

The cost is $99 per person, which includes breakfast and lunch. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Jan. 10. For more information and to register, visit the event website.
