Russo Outdoor Power Plus  announced that it has integrated the former QC Power Equipment business into Russo’s Davenport location.

QC Power founders Steve and Vicki Cutforth recently retired and their “team has joined Russo to ensure continuity for local customers,” according to a news release last week from Russo.

Russo is located at 5401 N. Brady St. The company is a premier Midwest dealer of outdoor power equipment and landscape supplies. Family-owned since 1970, Russo now operates 12 locations across the Midwest and partners with top brands such as Toro, Wright, Scag, Exmark, Hustler, STIHL and ECHO.

QC Power Equipment was located at 226 E. 35th St., Davenport, and offered a wide variety of lawn and snow removal equipment. That location has now been combined with Russo’s Davenport operation.

Russo leaders said the transition ensures continuity of the trusted brands, extensive selection, and personalized service that Quad Cities professionals and landowners have come to rely on.

“For 15 years, Vicki and Steve Cutforth owned and operated QC Power Equipment in the Quad Cities, building a reputation throughout Davenport for friendly, knowledgeable staff and unwavering commitment to meeting individual customer needs,” the release said.

“Vicki and Steve built QC Power Equipment on the same values that guide us — hard work, integrity, and putting people first,” added Michael Kolowski of Russo Power Equipment. “We’re honored they’ve chosen Russo to carry forward their legacy and excited to welcome their talented team into our family.”

The transition brings together two family-owned businesses united by shared values and a commitment to the Quad Cities community. Customers will continue to receive the same trusted, individualized service they’ve counted on, now backed by Russo’s expanded inventory, parts support, and industry experience.

Russo said in the release the company looks forward to continuing QC Power’s tradition of supporting local professionals, businesses, and community organizations throughout the region.

Headquartered in Schiller Park, Illinois, the company began as a family-owned Ace Hardware franchise in Chicago. Now a leading provider of high-quality outdoor power equipment for the professional landscaping industry, it has operations across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa. In addition to Davenport, it has a second Iowa location in Hiawatha.
