KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Russell has named Ryan Schroeder as president of its Kansas City office, marking a significant expansion for the Davenport-based company.
Mr. Schroeder has more than 37 years of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. He recently retired as the president and CEO of CRB. It is a global design and construction firm specializing in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage sectors. Under his leadership, CRB grew to more than 1,300 employees in 20 offices in North America and Europe.
“What drew me to Russell was its strong sense of purpose and genuine commitment to people,” Mr. Schroeder said in a news release announcing his leadership role. “The culture, values and vision for growth truly resonated with me and inspired me to come out of retirement. I’m excited to help build a lasting legacy in Kansas City.”
Mr. Schroeder will lead strategic growth initiatives, foster key client and partner relationships and help shape the office’s culture and long-term vision. He will also enhance Russell’s portfolio of services. He also will strengthen its ability to deliver complex facilities for clients in rapidly evolving sectors.
As part of Russell’s dual-leadership structure, Greg Sikora will assume the role of vice president of national operations. He will oversee project execution in Kansas City and across Russell’s national traveling markets.
“We are excited to welcome Ryan to the Russell team,” Caitlin Russell, president of Russell, said in the release. “His industry expertise, track record of growth and people-first leadership style align perfectly with our values and vision for the Kansas City market.”
Mr. Schroeder officially began with Russell on Tuesday, April 15.
