Three-time Grammy award-winning guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Brian Setzer will make a stop at the Adler Theatre in Davenport this fall as part of his “Rockabilly Riot” tour.
Performing live shows for the first time in four years, Brian Setzer will take the Adler stage on Thursday, Oct. 12. The show begins at 8 p.m.
Tickets — $45-$82 — are available online at Ticketmaster.com.
Joining him is the “international rockabilly band, Chris D’Rozario from Melbourne, Australia, and Juan Laurios, from Mexico City,” he says, in a news release from the Adler.
“I’ve had a pretty long break, and I needed it,” Mr. Setzer says. “I’m renewed and really want to play live again. I want to just get out on the road with this kick-a– little three-piece band and start playing.”
The shows will include tunes spanning his 40-year career as a solo artist, leader of The Brian Setzer Orchestra and as a Stray Cat, according to the release.
“I think fans can always expect that I’m going to play the hits,” he says in the release. “I also want to play some solo guitar and little things I’ve worked out by myself. I’ve never really gotten to do that, so it’s going to be something new.”
