Each year, residents of Rock Island are encouraged to “Tell On Your Neighbor” by nominating the yards in their neighborhood that they find to be the most appealing or the most improved.
The City of Rock Island’s Beautification Commission will review all the entries. Approved nominees will receive certificates of appreciation from Mayor Ashley Harris and the chairman of the Rock Island Arts and Beautification Commission.
Nominations can be made through Tuesday, Aug. 12. Digital photos of the nominated yards are required. The city asks participants not to go on private property.
