Rock Island given approval for River Edge Redevelopment Zone

    The City of Rock Island has earned state approval to establish what will be the largest River Edge Redevelopment Zone, to date, in Illinois. 

    The city announced recently that its application was approved Monday, Oct. 27, by the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO), which administers the development program.
