River Action will host a “River-Lovin’ Banter and Brews” event at Great River Brewery from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16.
The event will offer attendees a chance to learn about River Action events and initiatives and discuss plans and ideas for the future of the Quad Cities riverfront and surrounding communities.
Great River Brewery, located in downtown Davenport, will donate 10% of all purchases, including food, brews and merchandise, directly back to River Action. The Davenport-based non-profit organization is dedicated to fostering the environmental, economic and cultural vitality of the Mississippi River and its riverfront in the Quad Cities region.
