Play a round of golf for a good cause or volunteer your time in other ways this Friday, July 21, during the fourth annual Ridgecrest Foundation Golf Outing.
To participate, the cost is $309 for teams of four people (no pros), which includes 18 holes of golf, music from a live DJ, networking, lunch and fun, according to a news release. Golfers also have a new opportunity to win $10,000 through the Hole in One Contest.
For those who do not golf, Ridgecrest also is seeking sponsorships (including $5,000 event sponsors, $2,000 lunch sponsors, $1,000 corporate sponsors and $800 hole sponsor), as well as volunteers and spectators.
Organizers hope the golf outing will kick-start the foundation’s fundraising efforts toward a large remodel project at Ridgecrest Village so it may better serve its seniors.
Ridgecrest Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the efforts of Ridgecrest Village, a nonprofit retirement community in Davenport that offers independent and assisted living, memory and skilled care.
