Children who use the outdoor area at the Rock Island Public Library may soon be able to enjoy unique portable musical flowers thanks to a cruise fundraiser by Rock Island Rotary Club and Picture Perfect Travel.
The Rotary Club is offering a chance to win a $2,000 credit on the cruise of the winner’s choice on Royal Caribbean or Viking Cruise Line. The cost of the drawing is $20 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased by emailing the Rock Island Rotary at [email protected].
“We will only sell 350 tickets, and the drawing will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1,” said Ruth Lee, event chair for the club’s cruise credit drawing.
The winner’s cruise must be booked no later than May 31, 2025, with Picture Perfect Travel, located at 1315 30th St., Rock Island.
“Rock Island Rotary has a long history of community service projects,” Ms. Lee said. “This is a great way to assist the library and win a great prize.”
Founded in 1914, the Rock Island Rotary Club is an organization whose members are business and professional leaders dedicated to community and international service.
