
Join the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal as it hosts the third annual QCBJ Commercial Real Estate Symposium on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Bally’s Quad Cities Casino & Hotel in Rock Island. Speakers will discuss current trends in the region’s real estate landscape such as notable property deals, new developments and provide a market forecast.
The symposium is open to all business leaders particularly those involved in any sector of the commercial development and real estate industries.
The luncheon program will include a commercial market overview by Thad DenHartog, managing broker and principal at Mel Foster Commercial Real Estate Services. Mr. DenHartog also delivered the keynote address at the QCBJ Commercial Real Estate Symposium in 2022 and 2023.
Trio of experts featured
A Quad Citian for more than two decades, Mr. DenHartog has dedicated himself to the area’s growth by sharing his market knowledge and transaction skills to provide clients with the expert level of service.
This year’s event also will include two other speakers:
- Travis Deese is associate director of Americas Multifamily Research for CBRE Econometric Advisors. He will present a “U.S. Commercial Real Estate Market Update: Multi-Family and Capital Markets.” Mr. Deese specializes in data-driven storytelling and multifamily investment strategy. His research is regularly cited throughout the media including The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Newsweek and many others.
- Ben Keith is director of Regional Operations for MidAmerican Energy Co., Davenport. He will discuss the energy needs of data centers.
