Register now for Muscatine Women’s Leadership Summit

MUSCATINE, Iowa — The Muscatine Women’s Leadership Network will host its second annual all-day summit on Thursday, June 5, at Bridgestone Bandag.

“Our committee was blown away by the success of last year’s summit, and we are thrilled that Bridgestone Bandag has agreed to share their facility with this growing and evolving movement of incredible women,” said Lindsay Trumbull, director of membership at the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GMCCI).

“We are so proud to see the community embrace our mission of empowerment, connection, and inspiration,” she said in a news release. “Fellowship and support are critical to the health of our workforce, and we are excited to introduce another impressive slate of speakers, panelists, vendors, and community partners to educate and encourage this year’s attendees.”

Featured presenters include: Jean Reynolds (retired HNI Corporation), Jennifer Fridley (Muscatine Community Schools), and Brenda Meeker (Elevate Consulting). The Guiding Leaders panel features: Jennifer Wade (Bridgestone Bandag), Alyshea Gow (Feather Your Nest Interiors), Whitney Pena (Muscatine Police Department), and Laura Custis (Ruhl & Ruhl).

A new panel this year is dedicated to the Growing Leaders. Panelists will be: Ashley Richenberger (Pearl City Chiropractic), Kenda Kistenmacher (Kenda Kist Jewelry), Hilary Henke (United Way), and Johnnie Arnett (Kent Corporation).

The summit will be hosted by Heidi Fields, of My Resource Library and GMCCI’s 2024 Volunteer of the Year, with opening remarks from Muscatine’s “First Lady” Candice Bark (Stanley Consultants) beginning at 9 a.m. The summit will also host a vendor fair featuring local curators, artisans, refreshments, and services.
