
Black Hawk College will host a workplace safety summit from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Thursday, March 13, at its Moline campus.
The summit is open to safety professionals, managers and supervisors, safety committee members, HR personnel, business owners, contractors and anyone responsible for the safety of employees.
This one-day conference will include five presentations including a keynote address, “Safety is free. Use it.” The speaker will be Greg Hass, president of Valley Construction, Rock Island. Other topics include company policies and procedures, artificial intelligence and OSHA inspections.
