The QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island is getting a new name and upgrades, but will have the same mission of hosting big events in the region.

The Quad City Conservation Alliance (QCCA) on Tuesday, July 14, announced the official rebranding of the longtime QCCA Expo Center as the QCCA Event Center sponsored by Jackson Generator.

The new identity marks a significant milestone for one of the Quad Cities’ premier event venues, accompanied by facility improvements and expanded opportunities for guests, exhibitors, sponsors and the community.

“This rebrand is more than a name change. It’s an investment in the future of events in the Quad Cities,” said Matt Behnken, president of the Quad City Conservation Alliance. “With Jackson Generator as our naming sponsor and major improvements underway, we are creating an even stronger destination for guests, vendors, sponsors, and event organizers while continuing to advance the conservation mission that has driven the QCCA for more than 40 years.”

“The new name reflects the venue’s evolution into a premier destination for trade shows, wildlife expos, craft fairs, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, private celebrations and community events. The rebranding is intended to better represent the facility’s versatility while reinforcing its commitment to serving the Quad Cities region,” according to a news release made available on Tuesday.

Although the venue has a new name and refreshed appearance, the QCCA’s mission remains unchanged. As a nonprofit organization supporting conservation initiatives within a 90-mile radius of the Quad Cities, the organization reinvests proceeds from its events into local conservation, outdoor recreation, and environmental education projects.

The rebranding is accompanied by several planned and ongoing facility improvements designed to enhance the visitor experience, including:

    • A refreshed main exhibition hall designed to better accommodate large-scale events
    • Renovated public restrooms
    • A modernized concession area to improve service and convenience

Located in the heart of downtown Rock Island, the QCCA Event Center offers 60,000 square feet of uninterrupted indoor event space, making it the largest single-building event venue in the Quad Cities. The flexible space accommodates consumer shows, corporate meetings, banquets, celebrations, and other special events.

The rebranding also creates new opportunities for businesses and organizations to partner with the QCCA through event sponsorships and advertising. These partnerships provide businesses with visibility while supporting QCCA’s nonprofit mission.
