The QCBJ launched the Forty Under 40 Awards program in 2022.

The winners – selected from dozens of nominees – were chosen by a committee made up of last year’s inaugural class of Forty Under 40 honorees. Young professionals were nominated by area employers, nonprofit boards, colleagues and others. Nominees also could be self-nominated.

To be eligible, a nominee must be under age 40 as of Aug. 24 and either live or work in the QCBJ’s bi-state coverage area.

Award nominees were judged on their business success and civic/philanthropic activities.

Each recipient will receive a plaque from the QCBJ and be featured in our Aug. 21 section. As part of the annual event, the Forty Under 40 class chooses an area charity to receive a financial gift from the awards event.

Event tickets are available online and reservations will be taken through Wednesday, Aug. 16. For those who register before Thursday, Aug. 10, the cost is $65 for a single ticket or $480 for a table of eight. After Aug. 10, prices will be $80 for an individual or $520 for a table of eight.
