The 2026 Quad Cities Farm and Equipment Show in Rock Island will feature big ag machinery, small drones, grain management systems and many other tools to help tackle modern farming challenges.
The show, which has free admission and parking, will be Sunday through Tuesday, Jan 18-20, at the QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Ave. The Farm Show hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Some of the highlights will include:
- Exhibits showcasing new machinery, technology, and agricultural products.
- Networking opportunities with vendors and industry leaders.
- Information on modern farming solutions for crops including chemical and nutrient application.
Show organizers expect about 100 vendors to be at the three-day event. Among them will be Frontier Precision of Peoria, Illinois. (Frontier Precision is an employee-owned company with more than 37 years of experience serving professionals in survey, mapping, engineering, construction, GIS, drones/UAS/unmanned, forensics, law enforcement, forestry, water resources, agriculture and more.)
Frontier’s Tyler Rice said the company will be showing its grain bin management system called the OPI System. This technology provides real-time monitoring of temperature, moisture, and more with remote access via phone or computer, plus automated aeration control to prevent spoilage, reduce energy costs, and protect profits, making every bin “smart” for better harvest decisions.
“I hope people stop by to see this technology and how it can help them,” said Mr. Rice.
Equipment on display
Some of those other equipment features will include: Bobcats, Massey Ferguson tractors, New Holland tractors, John Deere equipment and much more. The show also is a time and place for showcasing the latest advances in ag technology, such as drones that are used for crop dusting and other ag-related jobs.
In addition to ag-related equipment and services, the farm and equipment show will feature financial representatives such as BankORION.
