It might be the dead of winter, but it’s time to begin thinking about spring planting. And thousands of farmers and others connected to the ag community will be braving winter weather this weekend for a look at some of the latest farm equipment during the 2025 Quad Cities Farm and Equipment Show.

The annual show will be held Sunday through Tuesday, Jan. 19-21, at the QCCA Expo Center, 2641 Fourth Ave., Rock Island. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Admission and parking are free.

This year’s show will feature more than 100 vendors displaying the latest ag-related machines, technology and services, Robert Junker, QCCA show director, told the QCBJ this week.

“With the economy the way it is and farming being the way it is today, this is a good time for people to come out and support the vendors. … Come and get some new ideas for the farm,” he added.

Each year’s farm show features many agricultural displays of tractors, planting equipment and many farm-related services. Some of those traditional classics are expected to be featured in this year’s show include: Bobcats, Massey Ferguson tractors, New Holland tractors, John Deere equipment and much more. It also is a time and place for showcasing the latest advances in ag technology, such as drones that are used for crop dusting and other ag-related jobs.

In addition to ag-related equipment and services, the farm and equipment show will feature financial representatives. For instance, BankORION recently announced it will have a booth at the show. Bank officials will be at booth 204.

Companies and vendors are beginning to set up this morning, Thursday, Jan. 16, and those booths will remain in place until the end of the show on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 21.
