The Quad Cities Community Foundation announced it has opened up applications for more than 70 scholarship opportunities, totaling more than $600,000, for the 2026 academic year.
High school seniors and graduates of all ages are eligible to apply. More information on the application process can be found here.
These scholarships, funded by generous donors, are available to local students pursuing education at trade schools, community colleges, and four-year institutions, including graduate students.
The application deadline is Feb. 15, 2026, with recipients to be announced in May. Students are strongly encouraged to apply early.
“Education can transform a student’s path, and, in turn, the future of our region,” Sue Hafkemeyer, the foundation’s president and CEO, said. “Our donors understand that helping one student succeed uplifts us all.”
Kelly Thompson, vice president of grantmaking and community initiatives, added, “Scholarships help ensure that every student has the chance to pursue their potential. Improving access to education fuels a stronger and brighter future for our region.”
