QC agency plans Riverway Senior Golf Cart Tour 

The Friends of the Bettendorf Park Foundation hosts Golf Cart Tour
The Friends of the Bettendorf Parks Foundation and Bettendorf Parks and Recreation will host the annual Fall Senior Golf Cart Tour at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11.   

Registration has now begun for the Riverway Senior Golf Cart Tour, a guided, narrated golf cart tour along the Mississippi Riverfront for senior citizens. 

This upcoming cart tours will be on Sept. 7 and 8. The carts will travel along both sides of the Mississippi Riverfront in the metro Quad Cities. 

The cost is $30 per cart for two participants, per tour. 

Hosted by the nonprofit River Action, the tour includes a total of six locations offering three separate tour times. Times are: 9-11 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and 2-4 p.m. 

Three tours are located on the Illinois side: Tour A – The Rock Island Arsenal; Tour B – Moline to Hampton; and Tour C – Rapids City to Cordova. The other three tours are located on the Iowa side: Tour D – Duck Creek Trail; Tour E; – Nahant Marsh; and Tour F – Davenport to Bettendorf. 

River Action said Tour A is fully booked as is Tour B’s 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
