The Rock Island Public Library will hold a public input session from 4:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, to gather community feedback for a master planning study of its downtown library.
The library is partnering with Cordogan Clark & Associates, with offices in Chicago and Aurora, on the study, which aims to create a long-term plan for improving interior and exterior spaces. Planners from Cordogan Clark will lead interactive activities, polls, and discussions in the Downtown Library Community Room, located at 401 19th St.
The session is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided. Community input will help determine public priorities for library spaces. The master plan study is funded by a grant from the Doris & Victor Day Foundation.
