The City of Moline Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the community to a second design workshop for Moline’s Skatepark on Thursday, June 8, according to a news release.
This session, which will begin at 6 p.m. at the Moline Public Library, 3210 41st St., will cover concept design development for the new skatepark.
For those who cannot attend in person, the meeting also will be viewable online.
At the skatepark’s initial design session held last month, community members met with world-class designers with New Line Skateparks Inc. to discuss possible features and amenities for the new space envisioned for Moline’s revitalized riverfront.
