The Rotary Club of Rock Island is inviting the community to its annual Trivia Night fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 27, at the Holiday Inn Rock Island, 226 17th St.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and trivia begins at 6 p.m.
The event, which began in 2010, is the club’s primary annual fundraiser. Proceeds support Quad Cities area youth, education and literacy programs.
“This event is all about bringing people together for a great night while giving back to the community,” said Kathy Trone, event chair and club member. “You don’t need to be a trivia expert; just come ready to have fun and support local programs that make a real difference.”
Teams can have up to eight players. The cost is $10 per person or $80 per table. The evening also will include cash prizes, a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.
Community members and businesses can donate silent auction items by dropping them off at 423 17th St., Suite 102, Rock Island.
