Patriot Riverfest will be in LeClaire Saturday

LECLAIRE – The Patriot Riverfest celebration will be held in this community on Saturday, June 14. Events start at 7 a.m. and run to midnight.

Many of those celebrations will be held at the LeClaire riverfront, with the gates opening at 10 a.m. A freewill donation will be taken at the gates.

The Patriot Riverfest was created to raise funds to aid Scott County veterans’ organizations.

No coolers are allowed at the event. Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome. Refreshments will be provided for the pups.

Here is a schedule of events for the celebration:

  • 7-7:30 a.m. –  Kids’ Fishing Derby. Free registration and doughnuts. (ages 3-13).
  • 7:30-9:30 a.m. – Fishing, bring your own pole; worms provided.
  • 9 a.m. –  Poker Run registration / $15 per bike / $5 per passenger. 
  • 9:30-10 a.m. –  Weigh-in, prizes, and trophy ceremony.
  • 10 a.m. –  Kids’ Zone opens, bounce house and obstacle course.
  • 10 a.m. –  Beer tent, food trucks and more than 40 vendors open on the riverfront. There will also be military vehicles and a raffle drawing. 
  • 10:30 a.m. –  Flag ceremony.
  • 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. – Live music.
