O’Rourke Sales Company announced a successful Toys for Tots fundraising drive, collecting a total of $10,000 for the holiday toy distribution program.
The Davenport company initially raised $5,000 through donations from staff and the community. The owners of O’Rourke Sales Company then matched that amount dollar-for-dollar, doubling the total donation.
The entire $10,000 was used to purchase new toys, which the company delivered to the Toys for Tots collection center on Friday, Dec. 5, ensuring hundreds of local children will receive a gift this holiday season.
