The Northwestern Mutual Eastern Iowa office in Davenport is bringing on three summer interns.
“Our goal is to provide college students an internship with the kind of experience and training they’ll see in the real world, challenging them to grow personally and professionally,” said Managing Partner Kalvin Grabau Keele of Northwestern.
Ranked as a Top 100 Internship program for 24 straight years, Northwestern Mutual provides students with hands-on experience that will prepare them for life after college, including: learning a comprehensive approach to financial planning, managing a business, and developing their own client base through the mentorship of experienced financial professionals.
“It’s about more than just providing students with a job for the summer. We want to equip them with skills and knowledge that they can continue to build on in the future,” said Davenport Managing Director Wade Harrington. “We are preparing them to start a career whether that is at another organization or at Northwestern Mutual.”
