The NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Initiative will hold its annual open house and Cocoa & Cookies Social this Saturday, Feb. 3, in Rock Island.
The family-friendly event — which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1614 Second Ave. — will feature coffee and cocoa, cookies, time to celebrate and socialize with “sur-thrivers” and other people impacted by cancer, as well as craft activities, door prizes and more. Admission is free.
“It’s the annual open house at our headquarters where we’re celebrating sur-thrivers, thanking donors and sharing how we’re giving hope this year,” organizers from NormaLeah said.
