Music at Butterworth concert series begins Friday

The Music at Butterworth concert series is launching Friday, Jan. 26, with the award-winning lineup of Minneapolis-based string duo The OK Factor and the Swedish quintet Jaerv, the Butterworth Center recently announced in a news release. 

After combining efforts in 2017, the groups travel the world as Jaerv + The OK Factor, introducing audiences to their fresh dual approach to music, according to the release.

The event will begin at 3 p.m. in the Butterworth Center Library, 1105 Eighth St., Moline, followed by complimentary refreshments in the dining room. Admission is free, and parking is available in the area adjacent to the Butterworth Center. 

The event is funded by the William Butterworth Foundation, manager of the Butterworth Center and Deere-Wiman House, located at 817 11th Ave., Moline.
