Muscatine County Energy District hosts celebration Thursday

MUSCATINE, Iowa — The Muscatine County Energy District will host a Celebration of Change on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Stanley Center for Peace & Security.

The Celebration of Change will begin at 5 p.m. with guided tours of the Stanley Center, located at 304 Iowa Ave. The tours will be followed by a 6 p.m. program and remarks titled “The Dramatic Climatic” with Jerry Schnoor, professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Iowa.

The event celebrates Clean Air Muscatine’s work to ensure residents have better, cleaner air now and into the future, according to a news release. It also will feature information on how to become a Muscatine County Clean Energy Champion.
