
MUSCATINE, Iowa – Business leaders in this community honored a variety of milestones, businesses and volunteers at the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GMCCI) Annual Meeting and Recognition Night held Thursday, March 27.
During the celebration held at The Merrill Hotel, the chamber board’s 2024 Chair Michelle Almandinger passed the gavel to her successor, Alyshea Gow.
Other individuals and businesses honored during the event were:
- Volunteer of the Year: Heidi Fields.
- Young Professional of the Year and Chamber Ambassador of the Year: Trish Hahn-White.
- Small Business of the Year: Boni and Marcella Alimoski of Waffle & Pancake House.
- Presidential Award: Megan Francis and Crossroads, Inc., for the iLLUMINATE light show.
“We are extremely thankful for each and every one of our members. There were many accomplishments in 2024 and in 2025, we will strive to make this year amazing,” said Brad Bark, the chamber’s president and CEO. “Our mission, at GMCCI, is to be a catalyst for advancing our region’s economy, improving our quality of life, and enhancing our member’s success.”
Joe Delagrave, a two-time Paralympian turned USA Wheelchair Rugby head coach, was the evening’s keynote speaker. He led Team USA to Paralympic silver in 2020 as a player and again as coach in 2024.
