Midwest-based MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA), a 100% employee-owned professional services firm with offices in Bettendorf, announced it is expanding its footprint in Florida.

In a Monday, Dec. 8 news release, Madison, Wisconsin-based MSA said it has acquired Haddad Engineering, Inc., a leading Jacksonville-based firm specializing in electrical and mechanical engineering services.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1984, Haddad Engineering has built a reputation for technical excellence, innovation, and client-focused solutions across northeastern Florida. Its offerings include comprehensive engineering services for commercial, educational, health care, residential, recreational, and municipal projects.

In the release, MSA said the acquisition combines MSA’s broad capabilities and resources with Haddad’s deep local expertise. That strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional service to clients throughout Florida and beyond.

“We build more than just projects. We build trust, solutions, and lasting partnerships,” said Haddad Engineering President Namir Haddad. “Joining MSA will allow us to expand our impact while continuing to serve our clients and community with the same dedication and care.”

With more than a century of history, MSA is a multidisciplinary consulting firm. It serves clients from 19 offices throughout the United States.

“We are thrilled to welcome Haddad Engineering to MSA and expand MSA’s presence in Florida,” Nick Wagner, MSA chief executive officer, said in the release. “Their client-first mindset and focus on technical excellence align precisely with our values. Together, we will continue to deliver innovative solutions and build lasting relationships with our clients and communities.”

The firms are committed to a seamless transition for clients and employees.

The deal comes on the heels of MSA’s July acquisition of Fredericksen Engineering, Inc. It is headquartered in Mequon, Wisconsin.
