The City of Moline is offering a second round of support for income-qualified residents through its Meals for the Holidays Program, citing strong demand and ongoing economic need.

The city is partnering with Fareway Meat & Grocery, 3705 25th St. in Moline, for this distribution. Approved households will receive one $220 Fareway Meat & Grocery gift card for food purchases. The cards cannot be used for alcohol, tobacco, or lottery items, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

To participate, applicants must be Moline residents and provide documentation showing their household income does not exceed the 2025 HUD income guidelines for Rock Island County. For a single-person household, the limit is $54,750, increasing to $78,150 for a family of four, and $103,200 for a family of eight.

The Meals for the Holidays Program voucher distribution will be from 8  to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Moline City Services Center, 1830 6th Ave., Moline. Vouchers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis following an application review, and quantities are limited.
