The Moline Regional Community Foundation (MRCF), partnering with its generous donors, has awarded its 2025 scholarships to dedicated students to invest in their future.
“Whether paying it forward or paying it back, our donors believe in investing in a better tomorrow,” Paul Plagenz, the foundation’s president/CEO, said in a news release. “MRCF is grateful to partner with our generous donors who took action to provide scholarships to these dedicated students.”
The MRCF will celebrate the scholarship recipients at an event from 5-7 p.m., Monday, May 19, at the Quad Cities Botanical Center in Rock Island.
These students received 2025 scholarships:
- Chapman Family Scholarship: Zoe Ehlers, Rock Island High School
- Clement T. Hanson Scholarship: Glory Gallardo, United Township High School; Joelle LaPlante, QC Christian School; Lucas Eaton, Moline High School; Zachary Hendrickx, Moline High School.
- D.A.R.E. Moline-Coal Valley Scholarship: Lyllian Jorgenson, Moline High School; Nathaniel Bishop, Alleman High School.
- Dolores A. Hulse-DiIulio Scholarship: Erin Bull, Moline High School.
- Doug Reynolds Rotary Scholarship: Maya Vargas, United Township High School.
- Drury Scholarship: Laikyn Parchert, Rockridge High School.
- Hazel Van Arsdale Scholarship: Owen Braddy, Moline High School.
- Ina Duncan Banks Scholarship: Grace Gustafson, Augustana College.
- Jack Dye Scholarship: Lauren Glessner, Moline High School.
- Joe K. Wasson Memorial Scholarship: Erin Bull, Moline High School.
