Moline Mayor Sangeetha Rayapati is bringing back her Listening Posts, a series of informal gatherings where residents can meet with the mayor, ask questions and share their thoughts on the city matters that are important to them.

The schedule is:

  • Listening Post #1; 6-7 p.m., Thursday, April 24; Butterworth Education Center, 701 12th Ave.
  • Listening Post #2, 6-7 p.m., Thursday, May 1, Moline Public Library, 3210 41st St.

First introduced early in her administration, Listening Posts are designed to foster open communication between residents and city leadership in a welcoming, neighborhood-based setting.

The return of Listening Posts comes at a pivotal moment as the City of Moline prepares to create its next strategic plan – a roadmap that will guide city priorities and investments over the coming years. Resident feedback gathered during these gatherings will help shape the vision and goals for Moline’s future.

These free events are open to all Moline residents.
