It adds to the wonderful quality of life we have here … A few years ago, there was nothing here,” Davenport Mayor Mike Matson said during Friday’s ceremonies. Also at the event, Quad Cities Chamber CEO LaDrina Wilson added that she is happy to see the new clinic because it adds to the quality health care available in the community.“We’ve been crazy busy. … But everything is turning out great,” said Dr. D.V. Singh, owner of Midwest Medical Clinic. The new facility will allow Dr. Singh and his partnering physicians to provide personalized, one-on-one care. Dr. Singh has been serving the Quad Cities community for 12 years, contributing to his 20-year medical career. He specializes in internal medicine. Part of that “crazy busy” start for the clinic centered around getting the needed building supplies to open Midwest Medical on time. A.J. Loss, president and CEO of Bush Construction, the Davenport company that built and designed the facility, said it was a major challenge getting the building supplies during today’s era of supply chain delays. “There were big challenges, but it is open today,” he added. The clinic, which represents more than a $3 million investment, features state-of-the-art amenities, Dr. Singh added. The new building is 10,400 square feet including a 5,000-square-foot medical office featuring nine exam rooms, a patient waiting area, a procedure room, a nurses’ station, practitioner’s offices, labs and a break room. There is also an additional 5,400 square feet of partially finished space available for a future tenant. The clinic is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. It can be reached at (563) 499-5499.
