
Meyocks, an Iowa-based branding and marketing agency, has announced changes to its ownership and a leadership transition.
In a recent news release, Meyocks announced that effective Jan. 1, 2024, Kelly Ferguson, a member of the firm’s executive team, will acquire a majority interest in the company and become its president. Rachel Allinson, another executive team member, will acquire a minority interest.

Meyocks’ current owner and President Doug Jeske will retain a minority interest in the company, headquartered in West Des Moines.
Founded in 1984, Meyocks is a branding and marketing agency that shapes marketplace meaning for food, agriculture, health and mentor brands. Among its clients with a presence in the Quad Cities region are: Farm Credit Services of America, Grinnell Mutual, Hy-Vee and MercyOne. In fact, with a 29-year relationship, Hy-Vee is the firm’s longest tenured client.
Mr. Ferguson, Ms. Allinson and Mr. Jeske have comprised the Meyocks executive team since 2020. Under their leadership, the agency has grown significantly and expanded capabilities in digital media, content marketing, data science, research and public relations.
Meyocks’ team ‘extraordinary
“Meyocks enjoys enviable, long-standing client relationships and an extraordinary team,” Mr. Ferguson said in the release. “We look forward to continuing to earn our clients’ confidence while we build on the agency’s growth trajectory.”
He worked at Meyocks from 1998 to 2002 after graduating from Northwest Missouri State University – rejoining the agency in 2009. Mr. Ferguson was recently elected president of the Americas region for the Advertising & Marketing Independent Network (AMIN) Worldwide, a global network of more than 50 independent marketing agencies.
Ms. Allinson, a graduate of Iowa State University in graphic design, joined the agency in 1989. Mr. Jeske, who purchased Meyocks in 2008, will step back from day-to-day responsibilities in mid-February and serve in a consulting role through 2024.
