National Lampoon’s “Christmas Vacation” fans can meet Chevy Chase following a special Quad Cities screening of the movie Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the Adler Theatre in downtown Davenport.
This is the 35th anniversary of the timeless comedy classic. There will be a live question-and-answer session with Chevy Chase, who played the loveable, bumbling ‘Clark’ in the film, and his wife Jayni, an Adler Theatre news release said. A limited number of VIP tickets will be available. They include a personal post-show photo opportunity with Chevy Chase himself.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. Ticket prices begin at just $39 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the Adler Theatre box office.
Chevy and Jayni will share behind-the-scenes stories and personal anecdotes about the making of this beloved movie that has become a Christmas tradition for many families, the release said.
Patrons also will be able to ask questions and hear firsthand from the beloved actor about his storied career including Saturday Night Live, “Caddyshack” and more.
