Eastern Iowa Community Colleges will host a Manufacturing Career Fair from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Blong Technology Center, 8500 Hillandale Road, Davenport.
The event is designed to help connect jobseekers with local employers, high-demand jobs and show how EICC can help prepare people for those jobs.
The career fair has free admission and is open to the public.
Some of the companies and job openings expected to be featured at the career fair include:
- Atlas Roofing Corp.: Maintenance mechanic, maintenance electrician.
- KENT: Internships and full-time engineering roles.
- Black Cat Wear Parts: First and second shifts for welders and machine operators.
- Merrill Steel: Senior welder fabricator, project engineer.
- LMT: CNC machinist, assembler, paint technician, and manual machinist.
- Tyson Foods in Joslin, Illinois: Maintenance generalists.
- Team Staff Solutions and TSI Enterprises: Full- and part-time positions.
- SSAB Americas in Montpelier, Iowa: Maintenance, engineers, production operators.
