WALCOTT, Iowa – Country music’s Little Texas is coming to the World’s Largest Truckstop this summer to headline the concert festivities Friday, July 11, at the Walcott Truckers Jamboree, the Iowa 80 Truckstop announced. Billed as the summer event that can’t be missed, the 2025 Walcott Truckers Jamboree will feature fireworks, live concerts, Iowa pork chop cookout, an antique truck display, Super Truck Beauty Contest, and more.Little Texas is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. Friday on the Jamboree main stage, according to Iowa 80 Vice President of Marketing Heather DeBaillie. “You’ll remember Little Texas for their iconic songs “God Bless Texas”, “Amy’s Back in Austin”, and “You and Forever and Me.”” The award-winning group has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards - winning Top Vocal Group of the Year in 1993, and was nominated for three CMA awards – winning Album of the Year in 1994.Also performing on the main stage will be: The Jimmy Welty Band, Casey Muessigmann, Angela Meyer and the Western Stars, and Dani Lynn Howe Band.The 2025 Trucker’s Jamboree will be July 10-12 at the Iowa 80 Truckstop located along Interstate 80 at Exit 284. Admission and parking are free. The concerts also are free and complimentary shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds.
