LeClaire hosts Heartland British Autofest on Saturday

LECLAIRE, Iowa – The Quad City British Auto Club will host its 37th annual Heartland British Autofest on the LeClaire Levee on Saturday, Aug. 3. The show will be  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and has free admission.

This car show displays some of the area’s best examples of British cars from makers such as Jaguar, MG, Mini and Triumph. DJ Daniel Stratman will be providing a music mix and show-related announcements.

The show registration and car clean-up is from 9 a.m. to noon. Voting by participants must be completed by 2 p.m. and the awards presentation is at 3 p.m.

“Longest Distance” and “Top Twenty” plaques will be awarded. A trophy will be awarded for “Best of Show.”

Entrants must be present to win. If not present, the next highest vote count wins. “Longest Distance” is the distance driven in an Autofest registered vehicle – calculated by GPS from the entrant’s home address to the show site. 

All entrants will be entered in door prize drawings. The first 50 entrants will receive dash plaques.
