LECLAIRE, Iowa – Businesses in this community are getting ready for last-minute shoppers during the “Wrap Up The Gifts, Santa” event today, Tuesday, Dec. 23.
Downtown LeClaire shops are staying open until 7 p.m. tonight for the last-minute shoppers. Also, The Potter’s House, 122 N. Cody Road, will host Santa and Mrs. Claus from 3-7 p.m. today.
Shoppers can enjoy cookies, hot cocoa next door at LeClaire Plant Co., and check out participating shops including: Bamboo Baby Boutique, Razzleberries, Skinderella’s Wonderland Art Collective, and Wide River Winery Tasting Room.
Here are some of the businesses participating and their specials:
- Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at The Potter’s House from 3-7 p.m. Santa will have some little toys for the kids and Christmas cookies while supplies last.
- Aunt Hatties’ has dip samples and special pricing on Glogg.
- Bela has 40% off Christmas items.
- Crafted QC has 25% off Christmas items and free ornament for every $10 spent.
- Ember on the Hill has Christmas decor on sale, wine samples, and other in-store specials.
- The Kitsch-n Sink Antiques has all of its vintage decor aglow, plus 50% off all Christmas items and free gift wrapping.
- LeClaire Plant Co. has free hot chocolate and more.
