Learn about Rock Island’s city services at open house

Rock Island unplugged meter replacement sewer utility fee gas tax

The City of Rock Island will hold an open house for the public to learn more about city services and programs from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at the police and fire stations on 5th Avenue between 12th and 14th streets. 

Bring your family to meet the city’s first responders; tour the police and fire stations; see inside a fire engine, ambulance, police car and snowplow; watch K-9 demonstrations; and learn about the library, parks and recreation, public works and other departments. 

The city will release more information on activities and schedules soon.
