The local nonprofit Lead(h)er will host its third annual Golf Outing on May 12 at Palmer Hills Golf Course, 2999 Middle Rd., Bettendorf.

Registration —$125 per player, $500 for a team— is open for a limited number of teams of four through April 22 and includes lunch and a drink ticket, according to a news release. Mulligans and raffle tickets may be purchased that day. Tee off is 8:30 a.m.

A Happy Hour and Huddle will follow at 2:30 p.m. featuring the day’s winners, networking with golfers and community members, a custom cocktail, live music and appetizers.

Golf outing proceeds will benefit Lead(h)er and its continued effort to support women in the workforce through access to educational programs, volunteering opportunities and a strong network of engaged members, according to the release.

The presenting sponsor is Royal Neighbors of America. “We are proud to continue supporting Lead(h)er’s efforts to provide mentorship opportunities for women in the Quad City community,” said Royal Neighbors Director of Philanthropy Amy Jobes, in the release.

“In particular, we hope this event will help more women feel comfortable joining the conversation and connection that can occur on the golf course.”
