Junior Achievement (JA) of the Heartland has announced plans for its annual JA Bowl-A-Thon in 2025. The event is an engaging and impactful effort that brings businesses, community members, and supporters together to fundraise for critical youth education programs.
The event will take place in February and March at various bowling alley locations across JA’s 24-county territory.
The JA Bowl-A-Thon serves as a cornerstone fundraiser for JA, helping to empower young people with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s economy. Participants will enjoy friendly competition, team building, and the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in their community.
What to expect at JA Bowl-A-Thon
- Bowling Fun: Teams of five bowlers will enjoy a lively atmosphere with prizes, music, and camaraderie. Each team will pay a $75 registration fee, and is expected to fundraise an additional $300 to support JA’s financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work-readiness programs.
- Community Impact: Proceeds will help deliver JA’s hands-on programs to over 50,000 students.
“We are thrilled to continue the legacy of the JA Bowl-A-Thon, which not only fosters a sense of community but also supports our mission of inspiring and preparing young people to succeed,” Dougal Nelson, President & CEO of JA of the Heartland, said in a news release. “This event highlights how small efforts, when combined, can lead to a big impact.”
