Artistic & Loved is hosting a Sensory Gym Watch Party from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Tuesday, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, at its 3811 Harrison, St., Suite 200, Davenport. location.
Artistic & Loved invites parents with children in the autism spectrum, children and community allies to watch it come to life at Autistic & Loved. The organization was created by Argrow “Dr. Kit” Evans-Ford. She saw a need for a place where children with sensory needs could feel a sense of belonging, feel safe and at home.
“Our Sensory Gym will have so many fun activities and things to do for children with autism and their families,” the organization said in a news release.
“We will have a huge gym that has been strategically thought out and planned to create a great sensory experience with colorful furniture, walls, toys and more. The installation of our new sensory gym is going to be a HUGE transformation in this new space and we want the community to be a part of it,” the release added..
“This will be a very special time for Autism parents and allies of the community as their children will have a place to come and feel like their needs are being heard and met.”
