With fewer than 90 days until tournament week, ticket sales open Wednesday, April 3, for the 2024 John Deere Classic, according to tournament officials.

This year’s tournament will be July 3-7 at TPC Deere Run, Silvis, and will feature defending JDC champion Sepp Straka and 155 other elite golfers, including Iowa native and fan favorite Zach Johnson.

In addition to attending the PGA Tour golf tournament, those who buy weekend tickets also can see country music star Lainey Wilson (Sunday, July 8) or legendary rockers Counting Crows (Saturday, July 7) in what will be the second year of the Concerts on Course series.

“We are excited to announce today that tickets for this year’s John Deere Classic will go on sale at 10 a.m., April 3,” JDC Tournament Director Andrew Lehman said in a news release. “As in years past, we’re going to have a great group of players competing for a large purse, a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour and a spot in the Open Championship. And we’ll have two outstanding musical performers to put an exclamation point on both of our weekend rounds.”

Mr. Lehman said weekend tickets are expected to sell quickly and recommended that those interested in an upgraded experience should buy tickets early.

All tickets are day-specific, and parking is free at tournament-sanctioned parking lots. Discounted tickets are available for seniors (60 and older), first responders and John Deere employees. Tickets start at $20. Once again, tickets will be sold online, and phones will be scanned at the entry gate.

Students 16 and older will receive 50% off when they show a valid ID at the gate. Those age 15 and under are free with a paid adult. Those who use Mastercard to purchase Grounds tickets will receive 10% off with no fees.

This marks the 53rd edition of the Quad Cities’ PGA Tour event, which since its founding in 1971 has helped raise more than $174 million for charity. The JDC includes the nonprofit organization Birdies for Charity, which raised a record $14.1 million in 2023.
